As the second iteration of the triading process draws to a close, like the phoenix the cycle must begin again. As a member of a successful triad and therefore as a person thrust into the role of triadmin at this time, I must admit that it is a truly daunting experience trying to work out firstly what happened on previous cycles and secondly what on earth should happen now.
It needn't be like this. What I propose to you now is something that I have been thinking about for a while. What we need to create a powerful, efficient, but dynamic triading process is standardisation. What do I mean by this? I mean the Triadic Constitution.
What is the Triadic Constitution?
I envision the Triadic Constitution to be a document created by triadmins and members of failed triads past and present which describes week-by-week what should occur in the triading process. It should be created by the people, for the people. It should leave new triadmins in no doubt as to what action should be taken, no concern over when things should be done by and confident in a system that works. I propose over the course of the next triadic cycle that we, the second generation of triadmins, work together with the previous generation to draft this document; drawing on the experience we have had and the short but vibrant history of the triading process.
"But SpeakMouthWords", I hear you cry, "I thought Dan said he wanted this to be a self-improving process?". Yes, this is true, so what I propose it this. In the first week of the triading process, the week of signups, the new generation of triadmins work together to make small amendments to the constitution based off their personal experience of the cycle. Each generation the process will improve, each generation it will become more efficient. Cycle by cycle, it shall tend towards perfection.
I hope you will agree with me that this is good for the process and the community as a whole. It will allow folks to predict when the next cycle begins and also leave the triads taking part in no doubt as to what they should be doing. This has been SpeakMouthWords, with a generic stirring speech.
DFTBA guys.
