I think it's the randomization process. Triads should be formed based on shared skills/mindsets/etc. not just completely randomly. I don't feel like going into too much detail right now. I can say that what I want to say is contained in chapter 10 of Tribal Leadership by Dave Logan & John King.

Considering the amount of failed triads this round, I think we need a very effective mentoring system o.o And assigning 6 triads - that makes 18 users! - to three people is not what I'd call the best way to good mentoring.

Can I just say that I agree that the triad picking system was ineffective? For starters, our triad was in completely different time zones. Two of us were in Europe, same time zone, whereas the third of us was on the Eastern side of Australia. That means that when we are at school/college etc. that they were up, waiting for us to come online, then when they sleep we get home, then when we sleep, they wake up etc. Also none of us were able to contact our mentor, like, at all.

Something I like to add is that this period was a very busy period for a lot of people (including myself); the end of the schoolyear for some this means finals etc. so I guess we also need to take a look at what kind of period of time we're dealing with ..
Like wait a few weeks or something, I dunno.. but in my opinion this just wasn't the right moment for triads..

I mean I had exams for the end of the first week of the triad process but I knew I would be free after that, I don't think its really a valid excuse to say oh I was busy... if people are too busy they shouldnt have bothered signing up in the first place and should have waited for the next round instead....

Most mentors disappear and/or gave up. Also, we couldn't just kick someone out because they were in a different timezone. That would be very mean. I know I tried my best, and I'm sorry to say this, but I did most of the work.

Yay my triad passed!
Anyway, a couple of us talked in skype, and we came to the following conclusion. Next round, All the candidates will be sorted into categories based on common interests, for exampe, there could be a graphic design catagorie, 6 candidates in the that group, from there, we group them together based on timezone, and they begin there project.

I'm really sad our traid failed. The member that had been the most active with me just dropped off the face of the plant two weeks in and I've yet to see him again.. Is there any way we can join again if we are dedicated? Or is that just something you don't do?

You are ALWAYS welcome to participate in triading regardless of past performance.

Well, I was in generation 1 and failed, and I'm back, so of course you can enter again and just hope you get put in again
