There has been a lot of debate on whether we can have "unofficial triads." I really don't care about being an "official triad" because are not the people who stray from the norm and do their own thing become the most successful? I say lets do this thing and get a triad created. We can make our own little triads. So here tell about yourself, your talents, and such. I will start. I am 16, music is my life, I love to make a difference an be different. I want to make a difference in this world and not just be a "plain ol' Joe" who sits around thinking about doing things. Now its your turn. LETS DO THIS THING!!!

Whilst you're totally free to make your own unofficial triads (if there is such a thing as official triads... a triad is a triad) however keep in mind that one of the main points of the process you go through is that it's randomly selected, and that you're taught by the previous triad's who have gone through the process before.
If you start a triad unofficially, you won't be guided along the process.
It's your call though. Personally I like the thrill of not knowing whether you're going to be selected, then getting selected and being thrown randomly into a group with two other people.

I'm going to let this thread stay here, but if there are unofficial triads formed from this, just know that you shouldn't put your Triad "Chat Thread" or your project thread in these forums. They're only for official ones for now.

If you do this, it's pertinent that you follow through. It will be difficult, since you'd be the first to do this, and you won't have mentors. But I think your eagerness to start your own triad bodes well for how determined you will be to succeed... although you can't really fail since you're not being graded... But still, the best work comes from people who are enthusiastic about what they do, and who aren't forced to do something. So you should (hypothetically) do better than the other triads. As I've said before, I totally support this idea.

Before I say any of this, please know that I am not trying to be a stumbling block; I just want to help in the grand scheme of things. I completely understand that "unofficial triads" will not be mentored but we can look through the site and learn from others through their successes and failures. I know there are many on this site who want to be in a triad and will work with the triad. These people are determined to make a difference in this world. I don't really think Dan cares whether people who are not in "official triads" change the world. I don't see why we wouldn't post our projects in the triad forum because it would only help the world. I cannot see any negative in that, but if you do see a negative please tell me. I will restrain from posting in the "triad project threads" for now to keep from causing some form of disunity in arguing whether it is right or wrong. I know it is a stretch to be the "lone nut" in this, but if I can get some people with me in this we can get something going around here. I say LET'S DO THIS THING!!!
