Yule, Saturnalia, Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, or the ever popular Christmas...or something else.
What do you celebrate?
Who do you celebrate with?
And just, what do you do?
For me...I celebrate Christmas (mainly because most of my family is Christian (in fact, I think I'm the only one who isn't), though I am thinking about starting to incorporate traditions from Yule and Saturnalia into the holiday season...dunno what yet, though.
Anyway, what I do is, basically, my family celebrates Christmas like 4 times or so...This year, first, my step brother and his family are coming down and we'll have Christmas with them (basically give gifts, hang out and do whatever.) Then on Christmas day, we'll have regular Christmas (wake up, open presents, eat a nice breakfast, maybe slurp some eggnog, then later that day we'll go to someone on my Dad's side of the family's house, or they'll come to our house and we'll have some sort of feast, and then open presents. Then a day or two later we'll go up to Lakeland -I live in Florida- and we'll meet up with my mom's side of the family and celebrate with them...they're the cool side...lol. And once again we open presents, hang out and have food. But we stay up there until New Years.)
There's an issue with the recent economy I'll bring up in another thread that I want to get you guys opinions on.
In the meantime, though, check out this Cracked Article:

Sorry, wrong section, this should be moved.
