First of all, he must be one of the best speakers EVER. Next Hitler one might say?
Now to the point. Good economics does not make good politics. You can't give people everything they want. I am sick of the people vs. evil government way of thinking, like those politicians eat the money or something. The truth is that people are given those very expensive social programs because someone decided that all of the sudden everything is a RIGHT SS is a right, education is a right, free heath care. Of course it becomes impossible after a while to sustain that kind of system, nations go into debt (that's why all of the west is in such a problem) and something HAS to go. But when that happens it's the evil government. It's not like they will pay more for their education then the rest of the world, they will pay about the same.

First of all, he must be one of the best speakers EVER. Next Hitler one might say? Yeah, nice. Start off an otherwise serious issue with sneering insults. I think he reminds me of Perchik, or Marius. Idealistic, but passionate and has a good point. Now to the point. Good economics does not make good politics. You can't give people everything they want. I am sick of the people vs. evil government way of thinking, like those politicians eat the money or something. But when that happens it's the evil government. It's not like they will pay more for their education then the rest of the world, they will pay about the same. 1. Who's to say this is good economics in the first place? A lack of education causes a lack of growth. Their sabotaging their own economy by increasing tuition. 2. People always get angry when they lose something. It's just our nature. This can be proven by small children with their toys and mature adults with their taxes.

well, at the outstanding debt 400% of their GDP what they are doing now is not good economics for sure. Most of the students will still finish up their schools, the costs were just shifted. I'm sure they had people do the numbers on with they based their decision, so yeah, this is good econimics.

*not watching the video and reading comments* WTF is going on?
*watching the video and reading comments* I agree with brumagem. Also more students are going to leave schools and with time the lack of professionals is going to bring them down in production and their economy is going to get worse. But don't listen to me, I don't know much about that... I don't even know if that made sense =P
