Do you believe in love at first sight?
I personally don't. I think that love is a deep connection between two or more individuals, one that can't be formed in one glance. I think that what we are talking about here is attraction at first sight. Not love.
What do you think?

Yes, but I really can't think of a way to explain it. It definitely does not happen with everyone, but it can happen with some.

Yes, but I really can't think of a way to explain it. It definitely does not happen with everyone, but it can happen with some. How? How can you take a single look at a person and be able to identify with the inner depths of their personality, and find them compatible with yours?

I think there's no such thing as love at first sight, but as OP said, attraction at first sight. Or second, third, or whatever. That's the whole point of attraction.

Yeah, same with the "love is forever" thing... people can be in love for a while OR they can be together forever, but not both... unless one of them or both die while they're still in love, but then... idk, it doesn't count... it'd be cheating! ;D but back to topic; there's no way... maybe they can feel attracted, but that's all... in my opinion... so yeah... idk...

No. But here's the problem: define love. Depending on the definition someone goes by, it's not like it's unreasonable for a "yes" answer to crop up.

Yes, But this is coming from a Rastafarian. Love is a powerful thing. There was this girl i met a while back, She walks into the room and its like BOOM!!! It hits me, for some reason fell deeply in love with her. But sadly, She does not like me.

I agree with what a few others said. You can find someone attractive at first sight, but it's lust not love. Yeah, same with the "love is forever" thing... people can be in love for a while OR they can be together forever, but not both... I strongly disagree with this statement. If you're in love "for a while," then it's not really love. At the most, it's a very shallow love that shouldn't even count. That doesn't mean you have to be in love forever for it to actually be love, but it's far from impossible to love someone for as long as you know them. There was this girl i met a while back, She walks into the room and its like BOOM!!! It hits me, for some reason fell deeply in love with her. But sadly, She does not like me. I can't help but doubt that. You might have thought she was really pretty or she seemed like the kind of girl you'd be attracted to, but there's no way you fell "deeply in love" with her. Appearance constitutes, like, 3% of love. The rest is made of traits you discover by long-term exposure to a person. Not at first sight.
