Alright people! The votes have been cast, the games have been chosen, and first up is Pokemon Crystal.
SO! Since I'm not starting for awhile (I have exams to do), let's choose some things for the game before it begins.
Will I play a Dude, or Dudette? I'm fine with either choice (in fact, I usually play a female character in RPGs)
Which starter will I choose?
More importantly - names! My character needs a name, my starter (and the pokemon I catch) needs a name, and my Rival will need a name.
It's for your entertainment, so you should get some creative control over parts of it.
No I will not catch a Metapod and name it Penis.

Rival: Artemis
Name your subsequent pokemon after natural disasters or phenomena. Monsoon, Tremor, Tempest, Squall, Lightning, Glaceus, etc

Yes, sorry, I'll get back to serious. Get a Cyndaquil. It's easier to proceed with that one, at least in early game. And get a girl. Girls are always nice. Yes, I know that the main character is like 10 years old. So what? She has a nice bag.

You know, I've never in my mind imagined the protagonist to be 10 - especially not in Black & White - but certainly not in the earlier games either.

I have a legitimate suggestion. pick a random spotm'er and name your character after that member. the gender of that member will decide the gender of your character.

I have a legitimate suggestion. pick a random spotm'er and name your character after that member. the gender of that member will decide the gender of your character. PLEASE do that. It's an awesome idea. |
