I think that death shouldn't be celebrated, even if the guy in question did many awful things and you could say he "deserved" to die. Seriously, who are we to judge if someone should be alive? If you believe in a god, that's a job for him, and if not, it's none of our concern anyway.
And here's one of my favorite quotes:
Even though I'm happy to know that's a huge step towards ending terrorism, we shouldn't be glad about death in any shape, kind or form.
EDIT: I think I didn't make my point clear after all that. YES, it's good he was "dealt" with, and NO, we shouldn't be glad that he's dead.

DO NOT.

I agree with Freddy...
On a lighter note, this could have been another person that didn't have to die if the evil baby orphanage was up and running. xP

I'm GLaD he's dead. I'm not even going to explain why I'm GLaD. It's pretty freakin obvious.

I agree with Freddy.
Although he is dead and I didn't like him alive, he wasn't exactly doing anything. All of this seems kinda like a revenge mission thing. This won't change anything really. It wont end the wars. It wont bring back the victims of 9/11. All this might do is make Osama's supporters go on a revenge mission killing even more people
An eye for an eye does make the world blind. I wish people listened to Gandhi.

Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play yet, for good or ill before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many.
THE WISDOM OF GANDALF RULES ALL!

Well, it doesn't really change anything, except now Al Qaeda will need to find a new posterboy.

The man did terrible things and ordered the murder of hundreds (thousands?) of people. I personally, was 6 at the time, so it didn't really affect me... And I'm not American... so maybe because I can't relate I'm gonna say... I don't feel comfortable celebrating someone's death. I do feel ok laughing about it though. :3

fuck that...i celebrated!
i suppose i should be glad that none of you have a reason to celebrate his death...that none of you live in a city that has been attacked by terrorists in your lifetime. (with teh possible exception of our israeli friend one post above) i live in nyc...i remember 9/11 vividly...and yes. i fucking celebrated. were it up to me i would have had his body brought back and hung on the fucking skeleton of the freedom tower for the world to see. what makes me better than the terrorists? the fact that i revel in teh death of a mass murdering lunatic and not in the deaths of innocents.

I will not celebrate his death, however some people being gone from the world is a very good thing. I have a quote that sums it up.
"I've never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure." - Mark Twain
While he killed thousands of people, and was one of the worst men who ever lived, you shouldn't celebrate..

Also, can I remind everyone that this man did not deserve to be affiliated with Islam or any religion? He was a cowardly PANTShole that killed thousands, and frankly did a shame to all beliefs. Islam is a perfectly fine belief, that didn't deserve him. Flags_Forever Me too!
