I'm part of the newest triad, and I'm having so much fun I want to volunteer next time. Is that allowed? And be in two triads at the same time? I don't think so.

sign me up as a voluenteer The new triads have already been announced. Feel free to volunteer during the next round. Admins suggestion: say something to this affect in the first post.

yea I figured that out after the post but can i premeptively put my name in the ring for the next round anyways? To say it nicer than Click did... There will be a thread for volunteering once this batch of triads has gone through the process, and there will be a BUTTLOAD of new triads being formed at that point. Stick around and you can volunteer then! =)

Would it be possible to have a post requirement for triad volunteers in the future? I know a lot of people came on the forum once and only once, and have only one post, and that post was to volunteer for triads. It just doesn't seem fair to the people who have been on the moon for quite a while and wanted to be in a functioning triad. If we have a small post requirement, like somewhere between 5 and 15, then we can know that people have committed themselves enough to at least come back and check.

I really like that idea. I'll definitely bring it up to Dan and the other admins.

But even spamming takes effort, so it'd weed out the people who don't care.

Or, if it were just like an "unwritten rule" that you need to have X amount of posts to be considered, we could just not include the people with less than that. We wouldn't say in the post "Volunteer here, but you need to have at least X posts before we will consider you."

That's a bit mean though. No reason to give them hope if we're going to automatically pretend they don't even exist. If we apply a minimum post count, I say we need to let people know.

Well, we did mention it here... So people that lurk the moon would know xD
Ok, I guess that's fair. It seems like some of the people that applied didn't even read the thread, so this way if they actually care enough to read the post, they'll have a chance.

But even spamming takes effort, so it'd weed out the people who don't care. Making 10 posts on A&E saying "lol funny" takes 2 minutes.

Dangit Zak.
Edit: Actually, I blame Clicky for putting the idea in his head.
