It's slow, it's confusing, it's glitchy, the coment section format is messed up beyond repair, Video responses are posted as a comment, adding Annotations to videos no less editing a video on youtuibe isa near impossible task, The related videos are completely random, they got rid of the star ratings, it's just plain ugly and hard to look at, All the channel stuf is akwardly placed the viewing info is akwardly placed, If you try to do things that were previously easily accessible go to a link away from the video itself, The thing under your subscriptions is glitched and so much more. If these channel and video layouts annoy you or if you just like the old ones better join this facebook group \ v www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=114082301942191&ref=search&sid=1394704737.3878769038..1

@camoon Lee so explain to me what are the advanatages of this other than google saving money? How is it an improvement huh? Well I prefer it. I like the save as function, I like the dynamicness of it all, I like the location of the dooblidoo, etc. It's changed for good. No matter how much you complain, they won't change back. They may make improvements because of suggestions etc. but one things for sure. They aren't going back. So, instead of complaining about how it 'sucks', how about you coordinate a way to improve it.

I don't have much to complain about the new YouTube layout other than the comments section. It's a little bit confusing if you're the kind of YouTuber who replies to all of your comments because there's the "Uploader Comments" and "Recent Comments" section intead of it all being chronological (which makes more sense than anything else). Also, you only get to see the most recent video response instead of a small group of them (I'm not sure why this bothers me more than it probably should, but it does).
And either way, YouTube's just going to change again sooner or later- why try to fight it?

I opted in in February, and you get used to it really soon, and tbh, for no money (scrap that, I'd totally do it for a hundred dollars XD) would I go back to the old layout. I agree that the comment section is messed up, but I'm sure they'll fix that

I actually really like it... except for the fact that half of it doesn't work, my videos now default to 360p instead of 480p when all along I've wished for them to default to 720p, the new "subscription playlist" doesn't remove videos from your subscription list, lag is getting worse on some videos (Very intermittent... I have some vids load 10x faster at 720p than they do at 480p, and some videos on any res load so slowly I can stream four other videos of equal length while they're loading.) and the video viewing area always defaults back to the smallest size to go with the crappy default resolution.
But other than all that stuff it's awesome. Way to improve the visuals while the site still doesn't work, YouTube.

@camoon Lee so explain to me what are the advanatages of this other than google saving money? How is it an improvement huh? I didn't realise it saved them particularity large amount of money? And I agree with Camoon Lee, it's better this way. And I also reckon that if youtube had always looked like this since it started, and then they changed they layout to look like the old layout then everyone would hate that layout just as much (if not more) than this one.

I don't mind it, but it's SO EFFING BUGGY! It took almost a week for youtube to figure out that the X button (For when you want to delete a video from your subscription module) WOULD NOT WORK.
