I think that "Triad Projects!" should go under "Projects" and "Triad Discussion" should be bumped up to its own section. I just think this makes more sense from an organizational standpoint. Here's an idea of what I mean visually:

Triad Projects are too important to be that buried, in my opinion. It's a great suggestion, but subboards are so easily ignored on ProBoards... :/
I'm open to other suggestions about how to organize the Triad forum, by the way. What we have now is just the best the admins came up with (we all though Triad Projects needed to be front and center).

I agree with Bree. I don't think Triad Discussion is important enough to be it's own section. Most people really don't need to read it. I think before the triad projects didn't get enough attention because they were jumbled together with the discussion, so people mostly ignored that section, because they didn't think it concerned them. But now that the projects are the focus of the Triad section, people will pay more attention.
I do think it's sort of strange to have 2 sections for projects, but there really isn't any better way. Unless we just shuffled Triad projects into the main Project part, but then there would be a huge influx of new projects, and it would be too chaotic.

in the triad discussion section i think the old and new triad threads should be separate. the original 7 should be moved somewhere...and the triad discussion should be reserved for the new ones

We could really just delete the discussion from the first round of triads... We just had it there to show that we created a culture. We don't need proof of it anymore. And if we need to discuss, we just use PMs or Skype now. (I know I'm generalizing, but from what I've seen this seems to be true for all of the triads).

If we need to use our threads again, we'll have them. If not, they'll just fall to the bottom and disappear to subsequent pages. I don't see why we can't just leave them.

Well, either way, my point is that we shouldn't have an entire section that's not being used. If we separate old & new, the old will be totally unused. If we really think it's necessary to get rid of the old so they're not mixed with the new, we could just delete them.

Well then, I must also state that I do not think we should be separating new from old. We're all triads. We can have one section. In regards to my original post and the argument that the section isn't popular enough or whatever... well, I'd say that if we're going to continue forming triads, the "Triad Discussion" and "Triad Projects" section will both get lots of attention. I was suggesting the move from an organizational standpoint, as I stated earlier. I know some don't like using subsections, sure. Personally, I view all the sections no matter where they are. In fact, I never really thought we needed to separate triad projects from triad discussion, but, hey, that might just be me. ;D

its just easier to have them separate. most people arent looking at the old triad threads anymore, and want to look at the new ones, without having to see a list of old ones getting in their way. i know this is true for me.

The old ones are all at the bottom so I'm not sure how they're in your way, dude.
