I know that personally I do a lot of posting through my phone's internet browser, but on this new forum this is quite buggy. Is there any way that we could improve the mobile web interface?

Ah, easier said than done. I'll definitely point this out to Patrick (the Proboards guy), though.

Yeah, it might be a bit difficult ^_^ (I'm a demanding person, I apologize ) I spend a lot of time without a computer, bored out of my skull, but my phone has internet, so I say: "Hmmm, I wonder what's happenin' on teh SPOTM." Maybe if I describe what I mean, it will help? Meh, I'll try it: So I come here, and it's fine, if a little slow, but then, once I click on a certain forum, the topics don't show up about 70% of the time. Once I finally click on a thread, the responses don't show up about 90% of the time. Once I get the replies to show up, then it's fine. It just disappoints me a bit, but it's okay if you don't do anything, no one else appears to have this problem. Doesn't Google help reformat websites for mobile access? I dunno, but I think that's what I heard...

Hmm I can use the forum on my iPod touch fine. Which phone are you using? And I'm sure if Proboards are willing that they could create a mobile template and host in a /mobile directory or something easily enough.

I'm using a Samsung Comeback on TMobile, which has a browser called web2go (it's a TMobile thing).

I dont have interenet on my phone, but on my itouch i use it. its hard because when you take a normal sized webpage and shrink it to fit an itouch makes it hard to use. (yes i know you can zoom in, but still.)

I use a itouch too, my only problem there is that the picture/link on top comes after everything else. Pushing it down and often causing me to click the wrong thing.

Yeah, I know about that, but in general, I don't think we should have an iPhone version, but rather a more like JavaScript free (or with little JavaScript) and mobile friendly version of the site, because as someone said in another thread (I don't know who/where), the site relies heavily on JavaScript, and many mobile browsers doesn't support that well.

A forum (as big as this) shouldn't be used on a mobile phone if you are on a PrePay/PayAsYouGoSystem. All the graphics and text needed PER page would cost you alot of money.
If your money on your phone is empty or you get a massive bill at the end of the month. Do NOT blame us.
Just warning ya's.
