While I do recognize that most of the criticism came from members that were predisposed towards being hypercritical of your choices, I feel that some of the cause lies on the users of this forum initially posing serious questions, and receiving facetious answers from admins. When I read those first couple of responses by the admins I, personally, felt a bit of a loss of trust. Again, we are allowed to be silly. 2. Embrace our "inner weird."I know, I'm just saying the timing was probably not the best.

When you say it *shouldn't* hinder or help anyones abilities, after 4 years of social psychology classes, I can tell you that, like it or not, it probably will. Hey, I agree with you! Just because I say "I don't think this should happen" doesn't mean that it's not going to happen. This is just my personal opinion on the matter. If and when it happens, it happens. =) I'm also the type of person who doesn't like the whole "idolization of celebrities" in culture. Celebrities are just people.

Thank you for posting, Speckley. You are awesome for doing that.
Most things I'd want to add have been said.
I just want to make sure all of you lovely admins know I support you all equally and I'm only here to help and to better the tribe. I know I can do that no matter my rank on the forum, so... yeah. Rock on!

If my suggestion had anything to do with this, please let me know. Other than that I don't wish anyone harm. Keep safe. Sorry for the delayed response to this... No, it didn't. It's been a combination of things. I don't want to target anyone with this thread, and I didn't mean to. If you felt this way (and this goes for everyone else as well), I apologize profusely. I don't wish anyone harm, either. =/

I think everyone can see your intentions are good. Anyone who wants to fight you for that is probably just looking to fight.

I think you're an awesome friend, Erin, and I think you will be an amazing admin. Don't be afraid to post anything. Everyone has an equal opportunity to post as much or as little as they'd like.

It's perfectly okay for an admin to be casual with everyone... especially in this community, where it is encouraged.
Still, admins must be ready to be accountable for their actions... as well as any other member =)

From what I see on this thread, I think that we kind of got into a rocky area, but we want to let you know that we all care about you guys, and think that you are doing your job well. KEEP IT UP GUYS!

All right. I've locked this thread.
I've felt like I've said all I need to, and I feel much better about posting. This is partly because of the newest POGOTOK (Clearing the air), and partly because of the respectful and kind posts that many of you have made. Also, this thread of mine makes me feel self-centered or something. XD
Anyway. Thank you all for your input, and your support!
Best wishes! =)
