Ask them, but act like you're talking about someone else.

You can talk to me if you would like =) I've lent my ear to several tribe members; Insane_Zang being one of them. You can send me a PM if you'd like to talk and we can talk on a better medium.

Ask them, but act like you're talking about someone else. That doesn't work unless that person is dumber than a pebble.

Ask them, but act like you're talking about someone else. I considered that, but I'm too obvious. She's the only friend I would trust with anything personal ----- Also, sorry admins for posting it in the wrong section~

Just giving you a heads up: if she is your bestfriend, you may want to hold off on dating. I know from personal experience. I dated my bestfriend for a little while, things came up so we had to brake up (long story), and things became a little awkward afterwards. Our friendship is alright, but it's not what it used to be.

Definitely not my best friend, she is the friend that means the most to me though.

I'm currently having the same issue... but I'm in the 8th grade, so really, relationships are a joke at this age.

I guess you have to weigh out the pros and cons to decide if you want to be with her and risk the friendship or not be with her and wonder what things could be like. I know I wish things could be the way they used to be with the girl I was with but I wouldn't trade the time we had together or the things I learned for anything.

You COULD just tell them in a laughing way, "You know what? It's the funniest thing, but I've had a crush on you for the longest time!" See how they react. If they don't feel the same way, you'll be able to tell very quickly. If things look good, say "How 'bout we do something together?" The worst she can do is appreciate your honesty (Assuming she's your friend. A random girl might react a little differently, lol).
