I have to choose a poem to do a poetry analysis on. Tomorrow is the day we sign up for a poem. I have read each one about A MILLION times and it's hopeless. I was wondering if I could get any help with my selection... so here are my choices.
"Phenomenal Woman." -Maya Angelou "The Road Not Taken." -Robert Frost "Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Day?" -Shakespeare "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings." -Maya Angelou "How Do I Love Thee?" -Elizabeth Barrett Browning "O Captain! My Captain!" -Walt Whitman "Annabel Lee." -Edgar Allan Poe "The Raven." -Edgar Allan Poe "I Could Not Stop for Death." -Emily Dickinson "My Last Duchess." -Robert Browning.
...help me.

Hmm.. I'd say if you want to do something easyish pick one of the Maya Angelou ones. If you want to have to read into something a good deal I'd pick "O Captain" or "I could not stop for death" or maybe "The Raven". If it were me I'd prob pick either "O Captain" or "Annabel Lee", just cause I like the way they read. If you need any more help analysing or anything, feel free to ask. That was kinda my forte in school =P
And this should prob be in the Halp! section

I only know about half of them, but I really like "Annabell Lee." I don't remember it totally, so I'd have to look at it if you need help analyzing it.. but I'd say go with that one.. It sucks analyzing something you don't like.

<_< "O Captain! My Captain!" and "The Road Not Taken" are two of my favorite poems ever. Just putting that out there =P
"Annabel Lee" is good though. It won't be too tough to analyze. A good majority of those require some creative thinking...okay, a lot of creative thinking. I'm looking at you, Raven. Why are you so obscure?

I'm not sure if you mean that I am obscure, or 'The Raven' is obscure.
