Personally I prefer my spaghetti with a thick sauce and chunky vegetables, so a full-bodied cup of earl gray goes best, with perhaps a licorice spice tea for dessert.

Spaghetti hardly seems to be a tea food, but I agree with OP, though. It'd have to be a tea that has enough flavor on it's own not to be overpowered by the presence of spaghetti. Just to throw something new into the mix that hasn't been mentioned, a good Jasmine tea brewed strong?

I know that spaghetti doesn't seem like a tea food, but if we're all teabagging for the Flying Spaghetti Monster, we need to make appropriate pairings.

UHm, Red tea with lasagnia, Grey tea with ravioli. Peppermint tea with pasta salad. and perhaps some fruity, cranberry tea, with spaghetti...
