I believe a natural leader is a person who, despite what others think, does their own thing. A natural leader leaves the norm to create a new norm. They do not even have to be looked up to, because at one time the leaders we have now were not looked up to. A natural leader is someone who takes others ideas and puts them into motion, not necessarily the person who comes up with them. A natural leader will keep moving forward, never give up, admit their mistakes, correct their mistakes, respectfully point out the mistakes of others, and stand firm in what they know to be right. What they know to be right may change, but they will always be strong in it.

I really found this discussion interesting and so glad that the admin really have their heads switched on ^^ (not that I didn't think that before). I guess that clarifies that the admin are co-operative managers who "manage" the website. Sooo, in SPOTM there will be people who keep themselves occupied with the community as natural leaders and whether they be admin, triad, or common member there isn't really a higher rating, just jobs divided among the community.
I'm repeating everything already said but merely clarifying it for myself out-loud xD

My opinion is that the natural leaders are chosen, but they are usually not the best leaders. A leader must be able to organize and must be able to cheer up the team/tribe/community.

I think a natural leader is someone, who takes the lead when it's necessary to build a little bit of structure in a group. I think if you will place him in the "Dan Brown Triangle/triads theory" (look at his video from past monday >http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0o9F0qsweo<) the natural leader would be the top joint. He will still be equal to the other groupmembers but if the group loses strenght because it doesn't have any structure, the natural leader will cause it not to collapse by taking the lead. There is where i agree with Anting that he does have to organize and must be able to motivate his groupmembers.
