I noticed, upon perusal of the projects section, that a growing number of projects are actually advertisements for projects that already exists, undoubtedly, in the TRIAD PROJECTS section. This includes Bombs Tribeblog thread, and KipEnyans, Be Part of the Lexicons of Unbridled Awesomeness! thread. And I was just wondering, if there was a way, to consolidate these 2 forums, so triads wouldn't feel the need to, well, fish for participants... And by 2 forums i mean projects and triad projects... Because I like the idea of Triads having their own forum about culture and whatnot in the triads section, but not their own projects section, it seems like they are above other projects or something... Or perhaps not... I think if they received the participation they were initially anticipating, they wouldn't feel the need to fish, and having 2 forums for project, unnecessarily divides willing participants to seperate sections.

I agree. It makes the triad projects like projects for the elite, and less people actually take a look at the Triad Projects-section if they want to look for new projects. I think it'd be easier if these threads were in the regular projects-section, but with an option for another color title or some special icon in front of it to distinguish between the two kinds of projects..?

You guys are totally right but at the same time if there was just one forum projects would have less time on the first page... what if we had an official list of active triad projects in the project forum and active community projects in the triad forum? Like Sean's old thread that disappeared somewhere.

From the perspective of someone in charge of the triads, it's nice having them separated.. As it is, with all of the triads, it's kind of difficult to find which threads belong to triads I'm mentoring, and which don't. And this would be even more difficult if I had to differentiate between triad and non-triad projects, too. Also, there are a lot of active projects, and I think combing the triad projects with the projects would take the focus off of a lot of the projects because so many would get pushed off of the first page, and people wouldn't look at them anymore. I think in the first round, people didn't know what to expect from the triads, so they were hesitant to get involved. But now that more people are in triads, I think more people will get involved in triad projects, too.

Yeeeah combining the two boards would lead to mass confusion and clutter. We've already had to create separate sub-forums for the sake of organization within the two boards themselves.

But the triads as we have them now are basically to have the community bond - which we have the triad discussion-thing for - and to come up with strong projects. Why separate them? I think these "stronger" projects could only boost the projects around it, as people would go to one forum only. Also, the triads already clearly state from which triad the project is.. So looking for them is nothing more than finding out what their project is once.

actually, the way it was done last round was that once a triad had their project up and runningh they could post it in the regular projects thread, so...yeah
