Should I retake Algebra 1 and Geometry?

I get relatively decent grades in school, but math just isn't my subject. I got C's in Algebra 1, Geometry and Trig. I'm not too worried about retaking the Trig but the C's in Algebra 1 and Geometry just look bad IMO. I think if I retake them I SHOULD be able to get A's in both of them and it'd raise my GPA.

I'm a junior btw.

I guess the only con is that it'd have to be taken during summer school. And I'm not sure if my school would consider it to be a free repeat class since I didn't fail it. And if it's not a repeat class, then it will be like $100 and I can only take one at a time.

But besides that .... I guess not lol

It really depends what you want to do as a career, I reckon.

Athletic training (basically the person that schleps for the football team and tapes their ankles and whatnot lol)

I think most colleges offer job placement programs for it.

The thing is getting into college first, I don't want 3 C's on my transcript, but if it's gonna be too much trouble then they're just gonna have to stay lol

I would definitely try to take them again. If that doesn't work out, then whatevs.

So it turns out I can only retake Geometry cuz they don't offer Algebra 1

A C on your transcript isn't going to be the end of you especially with your career path choice. I wouldn't worry too much about not being able to retake alg 1.
