Hey SPOTMers!
Consider this thread a bit of advanced warning as to an epic project, the floodgates to which will be fully opened next week. I'm not going to spoil anything just yet, but suffice it to say that I'm not the only well-known YouTuber involved.
Next week a video will be posted on "pogobat" and another channel announcing the "South Pole of the Moon Epic Wiki Project"! The goal of the epic wiki project is to turn our wiki into a totally awesome, totally comprehensive wiki about all things related to internet culture (i.e. not just about the "Dan Brown Universe"). We're leaving the project pretty open ended so as not to hamper your creativity, but there are a few things that need to be done before the project launches in earnest.
1: Prepare for an influx of people here on THE MOON
2: Edit the wiki to make it less about me and more about internet culture in general (particularly the front page)
3: Definitely remember to be awesome. Our wiki editing partners never forget their awesomeness and we shouldn't either.
Use this thread to flesh out exactly where you think the "SPOTMEWP" should go, and get editing!
: D

Hmm... awesome? I guess we better get to work!
One quick thing, though... it will still be the "South Pole of the Moon Wiki" right? Or is a name change happening?
I will reserve further questions until after the video is up.

This Sean is an admin (according to he list) + plus there's not exactly something special about the admin actions, you only have a few extra tabs etc..

I really love this idea, but one thing seems wrong. The first thing I thought about was making a page about me and my YouTube channel. I am very sure others have thought this too. The problem is the amount of people.
Many people want to be known on YouTube. There will be tons of autobiography/YouTube channel wiki pages. This will clutter the wiki and it would be a waste considering about only 4 different people will access each page for the entire time it is up. That is why you should outlaw them except people that are well known on YouTube and people ask questions about them a lot.
Just an idea to take away from individual pages and add to informative and contributive pages. 100 autobiography pages or 10 pages on very confusing internet subjects that need breaking down?

I put a tonne of work into my channel page. If it's deleted because I'm not famous enough, I'll be pissed. Wikipedia is for famous people, SPOTM wiki is for us and the users of the internet. Surely we'd be better making comprehensive databases of our users before we re-document the already famous youtubers?

Some people will avoid user pages and just make them without it.
It's just, everyone will want a page and it will shut out the real informative pages.

I find the personal pages very informative.. Why should only "more known" things be listed? BTW you only find one others page by either a link or by searching it.. so why's that a big deal? xD

3: Definitely remember to be awesome. Our wiki editing partners never forget their awesomeness and we shouldn't either. I bet 1 cookie that our editing partners are nerdfighters.
