I would love to see a vlog with several different camera angles. Head on (apply directly to the forehead) is normal, though.

What I use
When I vlog on the go: 45 degrees on either side and below me slightly
When I vlog on my bed: Straight on
When I vlog in my chair: Straight on and I turn myself 30 degrees-ish to the right
When I vlog at my computer: 80 degree to my left, I don't face the camera except for comments
Mixing it up adds a nice little variety.

Frame yourself with a medium close up and make the camera level with your face.

I think it does matter. Use the Camera angle that gives you the most light!

I think you should use about three camera angles each vlog, just to vary things.

Just make it work for the basics of framing: - There should be just a small amount of space above your head in the frame.
- The main part of your body should be on either the left or right third of the shot.
- Relatively close up but far enough away to show hand movements.
Good luck!

Apparently light is the most important thing, just look at wheezywaiter...

From the front, but in between shots you should move around. Wheezywaiter for example, makes fun of the fact that he moves his camera angle.

Lighting and audio are far and away the most important things. Just make sure you're not too far from the camera and that your background isn't ugly
