I've been having trouble making a Google Docs spreadsheet public, meaning that it should be able to be edited by everyone. As of now, I have to grant people permission to edit it. Even when I do that, it doesn't work.
I'm trying to get it to work for a project of mine, and it would be very helpful to get it to work. If anyone can help me, I will be their best friend.

Open your Google Doc. Look all the way to the right and click the "Share" drop down menu. Click "See who has access...". Click "Change" and choose the appropriate setting.

Pointless post is pointless? lol. john: Works for me as well. Actually, I was going to say what rob said, as I am an avid user of Google Docs (as Rob knows from working with me on our awesome collab channel phoneticfriends) /shameless plug But when I saw Rob beat me to it, and that I couldn't add any more to what he had already said, the only option was to agree with him and to encourage the original poster to do what rob said. So instead of saying exactly what rob said, I said "what rob said".
