Atmosphir is a really cool game. it implements almost all of the gaming types I have ever seen. You can be platforming huge puzzles, exploring large landscapes looking for treasure, or battling enemies to the death. It also has multiplayer, where you can play capture the flag, team combat, or every-man-for-himself brawl. The most revolutionary part of this whole thing is that you can create your own levels. There are tens of thousands of levels out there for you to play, that have been made by other users just like you.
In design mode, you get a 100x100x100 grid that you can build on. there are lots of different kinds of blocks, enemies, hazards, props, you name it. Even though be default blocks are on a grid, the dont have to be. You can have then halfway between floors, or off to the side of a square, or all rotated like crazy.
The most important part of all of this is the price. Atmosphir is completely free to be a part of, the only thing that costs money is character customization. Atmos, the in-game currency, is one cent for one atmos. Items range from 50 atmos for gloves or a hat, to 250 for a full suit. You start off with 150 atmos, which is enough to buy a good weapon, and something else, but you also get lots of items for free, and if you were to buy more atmos, you only look cooler, you dont get special access to different parts or anything.
Im not advertising this, Im just really excited about atmosphir, it is one of the coolest games i have ever seen, and i spend a lot of my time playing it. It will probably be released to the public around june-july this year, and right now it is in private beta. You can sign up here, and you will be given an access code when it is released. If you would like to get it sooner, sometimes they post beta codes on their twitter, and Facebook pages. The community is wonderful, and their game is just amazing. I really hope you join.
