I don't know how true this is, but I think my source is reliable.

That seems pretty crazy. I wonder if any news outlets are picking up on the story. FYI, here's the channel belonging to the dude in the video: www.youtube.com/user/NsaneSk8er007

While I didn't have a problem with that video, I looked at another...
What a bunch of bullshit. He just cites things from no where, trying to stir up conspiracy theories because he had a bad high school experience. Not every school is how he describes (mine certainly wasn't).
He even tries to to paint John D Rockefeller, John Dewey, JP Morgan, and Andrew Carnegie as "evil." Heck, maybe they are, I have no idea. But he was acting as if they intended to dumb down American and make them submissive etc. so they can flourish and continue to be elite. Seriously, dude? Seriously? You think four men who lived over 100 years ago are controlling the curriculum? *facepalm*
Maybe there is some massive long con to shut us up and keep us stupid, but his way of trying to prove this was so full of holes it made me want to slam my head into my desk.
So because of this second video of his, his credibility for the video you posted is completely and utterly gone.

"pointless" concepts? and he shows math and stuff. some people make livings out of the stuff taught in school, so yes it becomes part of their everyday life. i agree with picnic and breepop.

Yeah, I mean, I may be one of those people that believe that we shouldn't be forced to learn calculus if we're going to be a music major, I'm not going to say that they're teaching it to us to make us stupid. All subjects have a use, it just depends on where you take your life...

I don't like resorting to ad hominem attacks, but I looked at his profile and here's some red flags: "Influences: Ron Paul * Alex Jones * Cynthia Mckinney * Luke Rudkowski * Ghandi * MLK * Dylan Avery * John Taylor Gatto * Lou Dobbs * My Father/Mother" All the emboldened names are known conspiracy theorists. Alex Jones is known for spreading the "new world order" conspiracy theory and is probably the worst of the above. He is very easily discredited and a raging lunatic. Many of the people on that list also believe that the 9/11/2001 terrorist attack was done by the US government.

If public schools wouldn't exist, then where would poor kids go to school?

I think he used the word "Alterior". Is that even a word?! He might've been going for "ulterior." Predominately because, indeed, "alterior" isn't a word.

In this country, "most political leaders are corrupt" is an understatement.

ok while some of his facts aren't correct and I disagree with much of what he says in that second video his first video still proves his point. He should have the right to say everything in these videos due to his right to freedom of speech. He doesn't slander the names of his teachers (that I remember) he only says that, in his opinion, public schools are corrupt. In the context of his school experience it's no wonder he has that view. Even if the issues he is talking about in that second video are isolated instances or only at his high school (which I find highly unlikely) I believe that the misconduct of his teachers and those of the court do deserve recognition.

Oh, the naivety. Google "freemasonry" and "New World Order" and I guarantee your eyes will open. A lot of the Chief Justices in this country happen to be involved/related with the Freemasons. I've even heard that if an individual who is a member of this "brotherhood" happens to have charges pressed against him for any reason, this individual can stand a certain way in court to make the judge aware of his membership and drop the charges completely. If this isn't corruption, I don't know what corruption is.

If this isn't corruption, I don't know what corruption is. "New World Order," "Freemasonry," and...you want me to Google it as a source of information? That is a conspiracy theory. It has no grounding in demonstrable fact and has the ability to say "but they're hiding all the real evidence from you" when that evidence can't be found...and then you redirect me to sources that have absolutely no established credibility to try and convince me of this nonsense?! You've shifted the burden of proof and called me naive. That doesn't make me naive and the only thing you have opened my eyes to is the possibility of you being an undiagnosed paranoid schizophrenic.

Fair enough. You don't have to believe any of it. It'll all come out eventually...and I'll make sure I'm still on these boards to say "I told you so". By the way, 9/11 was undoubtedly an inside job.
For anyone who's still even remotely interested in this topic, here's a video that somewhat relates to the previous videos posted in this thread.
