So this section of the forum, the "Forum Government", hasn't really been used for anything productive since the move. Even before the move there weren't really any threads of importance. The point of this forum was to speak about internal forum things, the forums way of governing things, etc. and it hasn't really accomplished that. I wondered why for a second, then I came to the conclusion that things that WOULD be posted in this section, are being posted in another section.
There is also a section of the forum called "Tribes". It has only two topics as of now. Now in the beginnings of Pogotribe, the "tribes" section served mainly for us to speak about the tribe, about any projects we've got going, etc. but now we have a project section, it's main use is to speak about the tribe in a way that isn't a project necessarily. So in essence, to speak about internal tribe goings on. But wait, isn't that what the Forum Government was set up for? If not then I'm kinda confused, because it serves no purpose as of now.
So I propose we get rid of the "Forum Government" section. Not just that, we make the forum names clearer. I think we should change the "Tribes" section to "Pogotribe" since most of the talk that goes on there is about the Pogotribe.
/on a side note, maybe we should start a discussion on the wiki about the different sections.

There will be a "Forum Government" discussion revival eventually.

There will be a "Forum Government" discussion revival eventually. Yeah but it doesn't need a section dedicated... merge with the Tribe section? Plus... the Tribe section needs the extra topics, it's getting lonely.

I'm pretty sure that the reason there isn't much discussion in this section is because we made a consensus back on the old forum that we didn't need to change anything, so we don't have much to talk about.

The Scientist is right. I think the main reason we don't have as much discussion on the new Board is because, naturally, people spend more time posting on already existing topics than creating new ones. Which is why there was so much discussion on SPOTM, because there were already topics to post on. That board had been there long enough that there were already a bunch of discussions going on. Which is why we have two things that would solve this problem: 1. We wait it out. New discussions will emerge, just like they did when SPOTM had been around for a while. 2. Number two depends on the ability to move the old topics over to the new site. Can Dan do that? If he could, then people would have a lot more to post on. What do you guys think?

Right now the forum government is almost non-existent. We're still developing it. However, in the future, it will grow exponentially. So yes, right now there isn't much to talk about, but that won't be the case for long. Keep brainstorming.
