I'm surprised that there's not already a thread for this. Is anyone participating in Script Frenzy? scriptfrenzy.org/I wasn't originally planning on doing it but the more I think about it the more I think I will. However I don't really have a plot. Anyone else doing it? Anyone plot less like me?

I've wanted to do Script Frenzy for the past few years, but have always been too busy to participate. I hope I can do it this year! It'd be an excellent way for me to work on my future comic projects, at the very least.
And oh man, I have the opposite problem: I have too many ideas! Even when I want to write or draw something, but have no clue what to do, I just pull out my idea book. (I always keep it on me so that I can write an idea down. 90% of the time, I don't use the idea right away. It's sort of like an idea bank, I guess.)
You could always try looking at some random generators and see if any ideas pop up. =)

I hope you can too. You can always just sign up and try even if you don't necessarily 'win' because you have to much to do. You may surprise yourself and find the time to write the whole 100. And, the funny thing for me is, I have some many ideas for novels that I want to write, but I just feel like if I wrote them as a movie it just wouldn't be the same. So yah, there's one idea I have that I'm leaning towards, but I have a few plot holes in it I need to fix and its still kind of complicated and fuzzy in my head.

Wow, I've not heard of this before, but it sounds amazing!!! I just recently took a class on screenwriting, so this is right up my alley. Unfortunately, I'm going to be INCREDIBLY busy during the month of April, such as going on college visits and other things like that. Plus, I've had no time to plan for it... D8 I have written a 25 page screenplay, though. It's about society as we know it coming to an end, and McDonald's taking over the government to reestablish the human race. If you want to read it, go here: sarahhach.tumblr.com/post/275529448/my-screenplay-for-my-online-classI know some of the formatting is different than what it should be, but hey, it's Tumblr. Give me a break. xD

In terms of scripts, the longest I've written is a 70 page screenplay. Other than that, I've written a 200 something page 'novel', but that's about it.
I'll try doing this script frenzy thing... maybe it'll finally give me a reason to complete this thing I've been working on...
Not like I'm signing up for the site or anything, but just the idea of the event itself.

I heard about this, but I don't have the attention span to stick to an idea.

It actually doesn't seem much different than writing a story, just more straight forward and some things need to be capitalized.

Yay, I hope you do Anyone else gonna give it a try? I have to say it's kinda funny how many youtubers tend to get into nanowrimo, yet almost none of them do Script Frenzy, even though they use scripts every time they do a skit or colab and most of them are going or are planning on going to college for film. But yah, I'm super excited for this. Oh and if you are doing it too, make sure to add me as a writing buddy scriptfrenzy.org/eng/user/617932
