A palendrome is a word, sentence, phrase, paragraph, or story that is spelled the same forwards as it is backwards, not including punctuation.
Anyone know any good ones?
I know the basic ones like racecar and 'a man, a plan, a canal, panama'

Aibohphobia (apparently fear of palindromes....0.o) There's alot of fears like that I think. Also names for speech inpediments which can't be pronounced by anyone who has that inpediment. Example the word "lisp" which is the most common meaning you can't pronounce the letter "S". It's really rather cruel when you think about it. Oh and... Stanley Yelnats, that fictional character from the book "Holes" and this may be the only or at least one of very few books to be made into a movie with little to no changes in it.

Zang, I'm getting a little annoyed of your posts that are just emoticons. Not even smiley faces. :[

Oh, sorry. I was just in shock. Umm, I don't know any palindromes. Hannah? That's all I know >.< You have to know more than that. Everyone knows of at least 2 which are likely your first words, Mom and Dad. There are many palindromes like that, the longer ones are harder to find. So you managed to come up with Hannah which I didn't think of but you forgot that Mom and Dad are palindromes too? We've allso got Bob, wow, pep, dud, YouTube's favorite thumbnail... Boob... and... what was I talking about? Boobs?

I think that was in the first post. And my 3 year nephew refuses to say bike. Apperently to him, motercycles are broken race cars.

A comedian named Demetri Martin enjoys puzzles and wordplay. He wrote a 224-word palindrome.
Dammit I’m mad. Evil is a deed as I live. God, am I reviled? I rise, my bed on a sun, I melt. To be not one man emanating is sad. I piss. Alas, it is so late. Who stops to help? Man, it is hot. I’m in it. I tell. I am not a devil. I level “Mad Dog”. Ah, say burning is, as a deified gulp, In my halo of a mired rum tin. I erase many men. Oh, to be man, a sin. Is evil in a clam? In a trap? No. It is open. On it I was stuck. Rats peed on hope. Elsewhere dips a web. Be still if I fill its ebb. Ew, a spider… eh? We sleep. Oh no! Deep, stark cuts saw it in one position. Part animal, can I live? Sin is a name. Both, one… my names are in it. Murder? I’m a fool. A hymn I plug, deified as a sign in ruby ash, A Goddam level I lived at. On mail let it in. I’m it. Oh, sit in ample hot spots. Oh wet! A loss it is alas (sip). I’d assign it a name. Name not one bottle minus an ode by me: “Sir, I deliver. I’m a dog” Evil is a deed as I live. Dammit I’m mad.
