Oooh I like that. And there's nothing wrong with Windows. I only just got my mac last summer. And the only reason I could afford it is because I got some money for my graduation party. And it still wasn't enough. But yeah, it's the best purchase I ever made.

Here's mine: smg.photobucket.com/albums/v251/blair156/?action=view¤t=Screenshot2010-03-23at42716PM.pngThe artist, Veronica Hebard, who made the background is here: www.moduslotus.com/ I suggest you check out her art blog. She is a local artist and I think her work is amazing. Also, I'm curious as to what the icons are for on everyone's computers. Mine are (in order from left to right)..... Finder, Dashboard, Safari, Skype, Address Book, iCal, iTunes, Photo Booth, iPhoto, iMovie (I need Final Cut Express really badly. I can't stand another day using this program D8), Celtx free screenwriting program that is AMAZING), Audacity, GarageBand, Gimp (a free and not so great program similar to Photoshop... >>), System Preferences, Keynote (similar to Microsoft PowerPoint), Pages (similar to Microsoft Word), and Numbers (similar to Microsoft Excel) I like how the three actually be saved as Windows files. I actually really like this bundle that came with iWork. It's easy to use and works very well. Also, what kind of computers does everyone use? I can tell that Natalie has a Mac and Thyme4aNewDay has a PC, what specific computers do you guys have? I use a 21.5 inch iMac, and I absolutely adore it. n_____n

Icons (top to bottom) are: My: Comp, doc, pic, music, then audio control, network control, battery meter, and recycling bin. Then iTunes, paint, word, windows live, chrome, vent, excel, IE (just in case), a key gen (that has no icon) and a clock. The last little tab is for open windows just like in a mac. I use a lot more programs but they all have easily typed names so vista runs them from start menu pretty easily (I like typing)
I have a 15.5" graphics supped Dell XPS M1530 though I'm saving up for a macbook pro - after I get my camera

img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Winged_Spoon/Desktop.jpgI never actually use my desktop icons, I usually get rid of all of them except shortcuts to games and my main folder, but I havn't been bothered cleaning it up since I got my new PC a couple months ago. I usually just use explorer or taskbar shortcuts. My taskbar icons are Winamp, JDownloader, Firefox, MSN, and a command prompt window for some reason. And my background changes every half hour. So yeah, there ya go. Sarah, your background is beautiful =) And Tyme, I have the same one. Yours is probably less stood on than mine =P I built my PC myself so it's a bit of a mish-mash... Which apparently doesnt work because it bluescreens alot, but strangely only at the least inconvenient times.. But yeah, I won't bore you with the specs =)

That is a little cluttered. Like a week ago before I organized everything on my computer [which took about 2 hrs] here is what my main folders + desktop looked like. Now that is cluttered. img109.imageshack.us/img109/5087/desktopuv.png

I don't remember where I found this or anything, but I've had it for years. When my old lap top exploded I found this picture on my external hard drive and put it back on as the new background Attachments:

OMG! HE HAS TWO!yes, that is from 1 computer. Running XP Dual-screened. Allow me to explain certain not-so-common objects: (left screen, secondary) Live Help Messenger = Live Support admin tool for SWAT4. (Right screen, primary) niet vaak = "not often", self-explanatory Spellen = games Chrimson Editor SVN263 = Editing program for Javascript, CSS, (x)HTML, PHP, C++, C#. Flash CS3 (ExHDD) = Flash, obv, (ExHDD) is a suffix for me so i remember that i installed it on my External Hard drive. Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 = fancy pictuur makur. CamStudio = failprogram, that i forgot to delete... it was hiding it the corner.
