So I noticed in some of Dan's recent videos that he has some vinyl records. I'm fairly new to collecting vinyl and only have a few records. I bought an old record player at a garage sale one day because the guy wanted to get rid of it and was afraid no one would buy it, so he sold it to me dirt cheap. I bought this the other day: I love the 12" art work and the indie-folk sounds great on vinyl. Not to mention Zooey Deschanel is a cutie Anyone else collect vinyl?

I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get it everywhere I go! Vacations, trips, ask my parents to get it on work trips, etc. ^_^ There's a great place in NYC I go to sometimes as well. I also have a bunch of my parent's old vinyl. My mum was a freak about it, and always kept it clean and organized, so we have a bunch. Also, my friends' parents give me their old stuff. Most of the music I listen to is on vinyl or Pandora. I have probably around 300 records, including 45's. I have an awesome turntable which has a built in preamp, and ity converts directly to the comp speakers. I LOOOOVVVVEEE VINYL! It has an awesome sound. And I love the atmosphere of good old record stores. ^_^
I <3 old stuff, and music.

I have about 15 vinyls I think, but most of them are leftovers from my nephew, who's a DJ. I have bought 2 at this point, but I don't have a record player any more, it broke T_T
My dad used to have a lot of records, from The Doors, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple,... but he once lend them to someone who never gave them back and he can't remember who that is T_T

I think I have almost 75 vinyls in my collection right now. I have 2 BeeGees Albums, a couple of Beatles albums (Including the White Album, and the Obla-di album), the Rolling Stones (Sticky Fingers), a couple of Alice Cooper albums (Including Welcome to my nightmare), A Boston album (More than a feeling), and an ELO album (Mr. Blue sky). I LOVE VINYL! These albums are worth so much, yet I got each of them for less than 20$ a piece!

I have never had the honor of listening to a vinyl record.

We've got tons of vinyl records in our family's summerhouse in Denmark. Unfortunately, our record player broke. Vinyl records are really hard to find here in Norway, so I think I'll be bringing a couple home when I visit our summerhouse next month, then I'll start looking for a cheap record player.

I have Abbey Road on vinyl but that's it. he knew they were going to be big. He had them all, but he lost abbey road and had to buy one off the Internet. First I had to show him how to use the Internet but that's a different story. Teaching him eBay was insane.

Lol, I found my copy at a flea market and I'm pretty sure they sell re-prints at Best Buy.

The only vinyls I have are Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and Peace Sells. I don't really listen to them, but they are beautiful.
