I'm new to the community, so I don't want to sound arrogant suggesting something, but I think it's something which would attract more people to the community.
So there's the "The Internets" Sub-Forum, right? At first glance it looks to me that the sub-forum is there to share links, but then again as a "forum" it makes people hesitant on what to post and what not to - since a forum topic is really there for discussion. What if this forum was turned to a link pool?
Basically the point of it would be to have less discussion, more moving information - people can share links they found interesting from blog posts, comment on them and vote them up or down.
Think the communities very own "digg", since it would have less forum and more link sharing it would be a little more dynamic. Free moving links daily. I think it would need some sort of forum plugin, if theres need to help coding it - I can help out but I'm no Ace.
My two cents.

This is a really neat idea, and while I don't think it should replace the Internets forum entirely, it seems like it would be a great addition. Maybe not a plugin, but a thread for people to just post links and a short description of the link.

A sub-form of the Internet forum would be the best thing. It would be interesting to have a rating system of some sort, as TheIslander stated "something like digg".
This is a good Idea, and would be relativly easy to put into action.

I was thinking something which is as "light" as possible: - less to no images - no registration something more like reddit or linkswarm i guess. This would bring people to the site both to share links (like their blogs) and view others : supporting the sharing of information.
