Among other things, I am a big gamer. I've never experienced a 3D movie, so the 3D effect of the Nintendo 3DS will be epic. Better graphics then the DS, analog slider, etc.  Set for a March 2011 release date (although it could come before the end of the year) the 3DS will have games like Metal Gear Solid, Kid Icarus, Paper Mario, Star Fox, Ocarina of Time, and a lot of other exclusive titles. What do you guys think of the 3DS? |

3D Ocarina of time, seriously  !?! Thats so awesome! (those other games will be cool too) From what I've heard the 3D on the games is pretty good once you find the "sweet spot" so as long as it's comfortable to play I'm pretty excited. |

Keep in mind it's only about 400x240px resolution, it's not going to be all that astounding. (There's actually 800px width, but with half aimed at each eye to create the 3D effect it will appear the same as a device with 400px width.)

The Wii is only 480p (along with some Xbox 360 games) and they still can look amazing. Basically the 3DS's vertical resolution is half of the Wii's, and the horizontal resolution is about 4/5th's of the Wii's. The resolution won't be bad at all, trust me. |

No, I'm not saying it'll be terrible or anything (and it is a step up from the DS) -- but I sometimes start to get the feeling reading these threads that people are expecting 1080p Avatar on these things lol.

No, Nintendo needs to stop making consoles/games for children and support more third party games. I used to love my gameboy. When it became obsolete, I wanted to buy a DS, but I was already tired of playing Super Mario Bros and Pokémon games, so I bought a PSP, which actually has decent third party games.
