I think that research to help develop cures for disease's and such like cancer and other worthy causes shouldn't need to hold charities to do the research, I think that if the cause is truly worthy then they shouldn't have to hold like hundreds of charity events, They should be able to just get the money to do the research almost like a granting a check, But more often like if they need to buy some machine or chemicals they should just be able to get what they need or the money to do so. So that is my idea for a project, If you read my intro post then you will know my grandma died and she died of cancer so I have to say "Think what we could achieve if there was no retarded foolish-ness of needing to rase money. I mean seriously cancer alone kills millions so why should the scientists doing the research need to just about beg for money to fund their research. Ok so if anyone has and feedback, ideas, changes, critique etc. just post it below.

I like the concept, I really. But I doubt that our governments will just write off a check, without immediate results. Sorry

I had a feeling that would come up and after watching "into the wild" it helps you realize money is a material possession. I am not that much of an economic whiz or anything but , To me it seems like we only have money simply to be able to look down on people and be greedy, Also to me the classes of people upper middle and lower, Just about everyone on earth is definatly "afraid" of the meaningless title of lower class or middle class. Well thats what I think and keep in mind I am not that much of an economic whiz!!!

The idea is good in theory, but the problem is the gov doesn't really have the money at the moment to work on charities. They give hospitals money via the taxes, but other then that they can't do much. However, getting a check and stuff could work, as long as you ask the right people. Universities, for example, I think give their professors research money (big I THINK on that one; I'm really not sure). Perhaps if a big university were to sponsor the cancer research stuff.... *shrug* Just tossing ideas around.
