Hmmmm my birthday is soon and i want to be set on just ONE of these. They are the same price to my knowledge. Xbox might cost more altogether though because of Xbox live...but i might be leaning towards it...

I own both and IMO the PS3 is generally better in most aspects (graphics, loading, multimedia) except exclusive games, although most games are available on both systems. The PS3 has the God of War franchise and Heavy Rain, where as the Xbox 360 has the Mass Effect, Halo and Gears of War franchises and Splinter Cell Conviction. So if you don't care about any of those 360 games then go with the PS3, but if you do wanna play them then the 360 isn't a bad choice either, especially if you aren't playing on a HD tv.

Haha to be honest I don't even know if the PS3 has one, as I've never had a reason to use it (I know it has in-game chat, but I don't know if it has anything where you can just talk to people). I play most online games on the 360 because I know more people who have 360s, and I can tell you that the 360's chat system is pretty good. Xbox live is also better then the PS3's online service for now at least. |

the xbox live system is really great to me
I love the games on Xbox, so yeah i would pick 360

My advice: Look through the games for both, find the games you'd want to play. Decide on which system you want based on which has the better selection of games that you are interested in.
