2 layers solved, getting the real blue cross?
You have to turn the top layer until two of the middle, top pieces are on their correct side. If these two pieces are directly across from each other: R, U', R', U, R, 2U, R'
If they're not directly across from each other (or after you've performed the above), find two top, middle pieces that are on the correct side. Make it so one of those pieces is at the back of your cube, and one of those pieces is facing your right hand, then: R, U, R', U, R, 2U, R'
Turn the cube and line up the blue cross with the correct sides, solve the last four corners.
I hope that helps... sorry if it's confusing. I'll need more clarification on where you're at in the process if you still don't understand. Actually, if you could just link to the video where Dan says this, I'd clear things up pretty easily.

Oh.
Um, like, just turn the top layer until two of the colors are on the right side.
See the blue cross? Well, for each blue cross piece, there's another color there. Red, white, yellow, orange. What you want to do is get two of those colors matching with the bottom two layers of the cube.
So, basically turn the cube until there's 3 whites in the middle and 3 reds in the middle. Or 3 yellows in the middle, and 3 oranges in the middle... all lining up vertically.
Again: Just make two of the pieces that are part of the blue cross match their colored side.
Augh, sorry if this still doesn't help. This is really hard to explain in text form... and I may be looking at the wrong part of the video.
EDIT: Other people will show up in a few hours that can help you, by the way.
