Ok pretty much what the title says. Because I know you all are reading, or should be . This way we can get an idea if we wanna go pick up a book or stay away from it without actually having to read the damn thing. Or if you wanna proclaim your love for some book, whatever you're into... weirdo. Format: Book TitleBrief summary about the book. Just so we have a general idea about it and aren't left confused. Then your opinion on it. You can bash or love or whatever. Point out some good or negative parts! ?/10 (give it a rating on a 1-10 scale. 1 being bad and 10 being good. That way we can get an idea and some recommendations!) EDIT: I'm currently in a book right now but when I finish I will post my review SO YOU MUST ALSO POST REVIEWS

Aww no one posted yet.
The last book I read was Choke by Chuck Palahniuk.
It's about a sexaholic whose stuck on his 4th step in his 12th step program whose mom was an hippie back in the 70s, but who is now currently slowly decaying in a crazy persons hospital filled with mostly old people. He works at a colonial place thing with his best friend who is also a sexaholic, but unlike him his friend is actually trying to get better. Seeing as his job doesn't pay enough for him to pay his and his mothers bills he goes to restaurants and pretends to choke on his food so someone will save him. They feel like they're responsible for his life now and send him money from time to time. He does this alot.
Anyways I won't give away how everything works out but I thought that the parts about how hippies only protested and never created, and everybody needs to feel needed were great. I didn't like how he explained the sexaholic thing though. In every book that I've read by him the character says "The truth is the people who participate in blah blah blah are just blah blah blah" It's kind of annoying. I give it a 7.5/10.

"The Music Lesson" by Victor Wooten. If you consider yourself a musician, READ THIS BOOK. It's freaking amazing. It's an incredible story! 2435326 out of 5!

I just got done reading The Perks of Being A Wallflower.
I loved the book (I actually finished it in an entire day, and I was still up until 3AM xD), and it all really comes together in the end! There really are no negative parts. The characters flow together nicely, and I felt like I could really connect to some of these people. We've all had our times when we've felt that we don't fit in.
Essentially, the main character is a socially awkward High School freshman, who learns about drugs, sex, and a lot of cultural ideas from a small group of upperclassmen that he meets just walking through school.
I'd definitely recommend it, 10/10!

Nightfall by Isaac Asimov and Robert Silverberg. Plot Summary: The planet Kalgash is on the brink of chaos - but only a handful of people realize it. Kalgash knows only the perpetual light of day; for more than two millennia, some combination of its six suns has lit up the sky. But twilight is now gathering. Soon the suns will set all at once- and the terrifying splendor of Nightfall will call forth a madness that signals the end of civilization. Dan touches on the plot a bit in this video, which is the reason I picked it up. Reviews: " A PLEASURE . . . THIS IS A VERY GOOD BOOK." ~ The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction My Review: It delves deeply into issues such as psychology, archaeology, astronomy, religion, anarchy, government inaction, mass-hysteria, and anti-intellectualism. - Concept: Excellent. A well thought out supposition. 10/10
- Setting: Good. You'll know where the important places are, but the worlds details are a bit lacking. 7/10
- Characters: Lacking. With a few exceptions, the characters are a bit bland. I only found myself caring about 1 or 2 of them, and not consistently. 6/10
- Story: Amazing. It has an ever-amplifying mood, and the climax was quite simply breathtaking. 10/10
- Overall Score: 8/10
