I was surfing the net and I came across a vid about tribes changing the world with their ideas. It struck me as perfect for the pogotribe because everyone here should be able to relate in some way. It really inspired me and I hope that it inspires you too. The video is made by TED, and is presented by Seth Godin. Enjoy! Here's the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQGYr9bnktw

I saw that video a long time ago, but watching it now that I've been here for a few months, it means a lot more. There are 2 things that really strike me: "Most movements are about finding a group that's disconnected but already has a yearning, not persuading people to want something they don't have yet."I've been trying to get people here to care more about changing the world, but if that's not what they want, then I can't try to make them. We also really need a Noble Cause so we can definitively say "We're connecting people who want to _____, and if that interests you, you should join our tribe." This will also allow us to expand beyond just being a group of people who watch Dan's YT videos. Tribes have a culture and you can recognize someone who is a part of a tribe. We have a few bits of culture that define the pogotribe, but not much, and we need to do more to connect ourselves and grow strong. i.e. more community building and projects of that sort. This was indeed inspirational. Thank you!
