This seems like the best place it fits, so I was wondering, how do you seek and find inspiration?
I know what inspires me but I can't go to it for inspiration just when I need some.
Anyways of getting it to come to you?

I've tried tons of different things to get inspiration, most of them without success.. I've found, however, that most of my inspiration comes from the shower. I don't know why, it just happens that way :/

Being alone.
Whenever I really need to get my mind going I take a walk really late at night around my neighborhood. It's really relaxing and gives you an empty plane to think on.

Before I sleep, like Benyamin.
Also, in the shower, but a hot shower, & with a plug in, so it's like a shath/bower, if you get what I'm saying. ;D

I believe that certain things trigger inspiration, it's not something you can "get" certain sounds, sights, smells, inspire you to do things. Hell, I made this video because I dreamt something exactly like it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVkN_smyhgE

I usually browse anything browsable (the internet, books/magazines, TV, etc). Sometimes I get worried that I'm just wasting my time but something usually catches my eye and pulls some sort of creativity out of me. Also I like doodling. :3

Any new music inspires me a loot. Even if it's terrible music. It's something new and makes me want to make something new!

I try to find Inspiration while walking or trying to fall asleep, but most of my best ideas come while in the shower.

Like most of the people that have already posted, I get my inspiration during showers and when I am about to fall asleep. I actually got inspiration last night to write a story loosely based on the Monty Python sketch "Bicycle Repairman," except in a futuristic setting. I'm saving this idea for NaNoWriMo because it could have an actual plot that would have enough words and substance to count as a novel.

talking to people. Discussing and sharing ideas is the best way to get you started on a project and it gives you a critical voice which you don't always have when working alone

I do lots of community work and volunteering with the Princes Trust here in the UK, I become inspired through helping others and understanding their lives while trying to help them better themselves and reach goals they thought they'd never achieve.
Seeing these people - aged between 16-25 turning their lives around and becoming a new person and fulfilling their dreams or helping them start there life's again on a positive note is the most inspiring thing I've ever done! I love my job =]
