They do YouTube for a living, and I think it's great. It's what they want to do and if MSNBC was to bitch about a change in something, go fuck themselves. It's time that online media get recognized as a real medium and so legit content. Not just "pirated shows" and "fails".

*sigh* after reading + ^ Maybe the internet people, the so-called stoopid and the really bad ones, should sent a message to Helen A.S. Popkin saying something like "Hi, we're from youtube" (so she can see how big a community has gotten because of those bad and stupid people..)
but then again feeding trolls.. :/

The issue is how YouTube promotes their partners and drown out everyone else, not the partners themselves.

This journalist didn't use the most professional language in this article.
To MSNBC: stop bitching, you fucking Cry-Babies! Some YouTubers actually work hard to turn what they love to do into a career! If you don't like it, TOUGH SHIRT!!!!
(Sorry for my cursing.)

It's funny because Helen AS Popkin gets paid to write articles like that, AND THEN bitches about easy money. Seriously, I could have SHIRT a better article - and it would have been way more researched too!

Wow, that article was just a complaint... no substance at all... well that's why one of the reasons I don't watch or read most news. But there is a point worth hearing. FREDs audience doesn't have a brain (and he's just one example), yet he's one of the most subscribed on YouTube. That's gotta worry most parents and educators.

I disagree entirely. Fred makes original, amusing content to a young demographic - and without being rude or sexual in any way. If anything, Shane Dawson is the one to be worried about.
