So I can't help but wonder...How many people suggested Dan move to a city because they live there?
I'm also seeing task submissions for Dan to move to a foreign country...Is Dan in a position to do THAT? (Just curious. Would be pretty cool, but moving to another country is a lot of freaking work just to get all your stuff in order.)

Im saying to move to lincoln not just because I live here, but because it has a cheap housing market.(250,000 here buys you a two story, 4 bed, 3 bath, house in a nice neighborhood, 250,000 in NY, well, have fun in your apartment.) Also, Dan knows the area. He knew where to go to shout from the top of a building. No time wasted searching for things and asking for directions, which with small daily tasks will help alot, especially if we want to move to a real time thing.

I suggested somewhere other than where I live. NOW, don't get me wrong, Dan would be awesome in Baton Rouge, Louisiana... but BR can be kind of boring, and uneventful... maybe I could have said something like New Orleans... but there are still even more eventful places to be.

I suggested that he move to San Francisco, mostly because it sounded like a place that both he and Danielle prefer.

I agree with San Fran. I have no knowledge of American cities, it just sounds cool. And if we are going to go by housing markets, then $200 000 will get you all that where I am from... It just happens to be a small town in Southwestern Ontario. I think maybe Dan wants to branch out and experience new things, which is why he's doing Dan 3.0 and why he gave us control over where he is going to live. If we put him right back in Lincoln I don't think we will have really achieved anything.
Just an opinion, as always.

Yup, but there are a billion better places in Canada to live than TO. It's like Canada's version of L.A. or NYC...It's great if you love the whole overpopulated, super polluted metropolis thing.
If I could suggest a place in Canada (Though I'm not sure it's feasible for them to switch countries) I would recommend either Montreal or Kelowna, BC.

Ooo, yeah. The Okanagan would be a nice place to live, indeed. But a bit secluded. It's hard to decide on a place for someone else to live, cuz ultimately I don't want Dan living in a place he doesn't like...

True. So we are agreed then that Dan should live in a Chuck-E-Cheese's inside DisneyLand? ;D Who could POSSIBLY be unhappy there?!?

Dan can't move out of the country. Or, he could, but it would take a lot of effort on his part.
In order for Dan to live, for example, in Canada; he'd need to get a visa, since there's no way he'd be able to emigrate out of the states, since he doesn't hold any sort of job qualifications Canada wants (like a Doctor, or a teacher).
Dan COULD get a single-entry visa, but they expire after six months - he'd have to move back to the States afterwards
