LAST UPDATE: Ah, I'm so sorry. Due to the influx in sign ups and the subsequent disappearance of 90% of those people coupled with lack of ability/motivation, there won't be another round of PogoPals. Yes, the original project was a success, and I thank you all for your support.
Unfortunately, we have to shut this one down, sorry.

In order to boost individual, personal and manageable connections within the tribe, the Doubt Aura Connection triad is proud to announce our project, entitled
This will be the 2010-version of what most of us know as "Pen Pals." Instead of using a pen and paper, though, we'll be using e-mail.
If you are not familiar with "Pen Pals" works, here's the deal. Everyone who is involved gets split into pairs. They are given some direction in a conversation to be had through writing letters (e-mails) in order to create a bond. If done properly, most "Pen Pals" eventually can become real pals and meet up or talk more regularly.
The reason we'd like to try this out here is to give everyone who signs up a chance to meet (hopefully) someone new and find out more about their fellow tribe members.
Here's how this works. We're looking for an initial round of 20 people to start this off. If you'd like to participate, please head to the following link and enter your information ASAP:
The data is sent to a Google Docs spreadsheet and is only accessible by the Doubt Aura Connection triad.
Once you sign up, leave a reply in this thread letting everyone know that you've done so.
I'd like to note that people can certainly continue to sign up even after we already have 20 people. We'll certainly continue this after Dan's due date. To start, though, we will only (randomly) choose about 20 people. I will edit this post when those 20 people are chosen.
Once the first round of people are chosen, we'll send them an e-mail detailing what will happen next. Then we'll send an e-mail to the first 10 people that will be sending messages with instructions and assigned PogoPals. Finally, we'll do the same for those 10 people's partners. After that, it's up to each set of PogoPals to continue communication!
(For the record, we do realize some similarity with the Nerdy Norwericans' project. The difference with ours is that we are NOT looking for people based on compatibility. It will be completely random and true to the "Pen Pals" plan. It will also facilitate even more friendships/etc. within the tribe and help to connect even more people. Also, if that triad wishes to (sometime in the future) team up with us and our project, we'd happily do that!)
This is fully intended to be fun, informative, friendly and interesting. Go PogoTribe! Woo!
Project Status: Closed. (Details Here)
