Awhile back, during the whole 'Make a Forum Government' assignment Dan gave the SPOTM, an idea of a team to help projects arose. Individuals who would work as a team, and help projects on their way to glory, help people collaborate with a project, help two separate projects work together, and most importantly seeing that the project will see the light of day. Basically, a team of:
To be clear, let's lay out a few things.
What Duties Will They Have?:
Essentially, they will work alongside the project leader, or leaders, with whatever they need, project wise. Whether that be recruiting Moon members to participate to participating themselves.
In addition to this, they will take e-mails or possibly PMs from new users, or users a little too intimidated by the Projects page, and the manager will direct them to a project which they feel they are apt for. The emails the users send will have to include who they are, of course, what they're good at, what they're passionate about, and possibly a little about themselves personally. It will be up to the managers to direct the user, or to let them know if a project appears that they think would interest said user.
Who Are They?:
They will/can be anyone willing to opt-in to the position. At first it will be TUKT triad accepting applications, but from there once a team is established, they will handle new managers and assignments themselves.
Will I HAVE to go Through One of These 'Managers'?:
Absolutely not, if you think you have a project under your control, and if you think your project is strong and will become successful without outside help, then there's no reason you would need one. But having them will make it easier, and will provide help, if/when people need it.
Will The Project Managers Have More Power Than the Regular User?
Nope, it will be up to the project manager to help within their normal user power. Even if the admins/Dan allowed it, we're not proposing a new rung of admin/mod. This position will be given to from other Project Managers, and it will only be a title, no power attached.
That's all well and good, but what's the GOAL here?:
This projects goals are:
in the shape of a set e-mail for the PM Team to receive volunteering applications (E-mail is set up and ready!), starting to help projects that might need it, and basically this idea coming to life. TUKT's OUT.
EDIT: Alright, so the e-mail is up, if anyone is interested in becoming a project manager: PogoManagers@gmail.com You can still PM myself, Zang or Carter if you're interested as well.

That's all well and good, but what's the GOAL here?:
This projects goals are:
- To make the Project page less intimidating to users who frequent SPOTM, or the Projects page in general, less than average, but still wish to participate.
- Help get more projects off their feet, and completed.
- Help users become more involved.
- Strengthen projects, and the SPOTM community as a whole, through that.
- Help projects become even MOAR AWESOME.
