Voting ends at exactly 6pm Pacific. The story will be posted tonight, but might be later than that. Regardless, no votes after 6pm will count. Carry on.

Well, I still think it's Jean. I don't think her reason clears her at all. I don't really see a reason Lyserg is getting voted out, can someone please tell me? I'll remove me vote once I get told why.

Reread Jean's clearing...she proves that there is 1 male in the current pack...the other complains about being mocked...earlier - the wolf who was mocked was male - thus both wolves in the remaining pack are male. Jean is a female - ergo she is not a wolf.

Swift glanced warily around the room. Only five people were left; three were crew, two were wolves.
After a long debate, it all came down to a vote that to any observer on the outside would have appeared calm. But it was merely the fear crossing some threshold whereafter it simply no longer manifested visibly.
Ricky. Lyserg. Ricky. Lyserg. Ricky.
Swift decided to simply not cast his own vote. He approached Ricky.
"Don't! They're tricking you!"
"Sorry," Swift replied, applying the lethal dose.
"Ggh... damn... it...."
Ricky fell to the ground dead. And then it was two versus two.
* * *
Grats guys, you knocked off another crew member. Here's what happens now. There are two wolves, and two crew, but there is also Swift. IF you survive to the next morning without losing another crew member, you (if you can get Swift to show up and vote) could still theoretically win. If the wolves get a successful kill, however, the game ends now.
Swift, wolves... send me your PMs.

The beach was quiet, calm and relaxing. They had beers at hand, they were surrounded by women, and the day was hot as hell. It was great, and the they were even learning to get along.
"That last job you did on Norwegian was great, man," said Lando. "You really mastered the silent and deadly technique in the end."
Lyserg chuckled. "Aye, and you finally learned to have a bit of fun with your kill. The look on the changeling's face when he saw Jean's corpse... HAH! Priceless."
Lando grinned. "Well, after you knocked off Nor, there was no need to mess around."
Lyserg called for another round of drinks, then noticed Zang and Kevak approaching.
"Hey, Lando, they're back in one piece!"
The pair called them over, and Zang and Kevak loped their way.
"Ahhh," Kevak sighed, "it's good to be alive. Thanks guys. We owe you a tonne."
Zang grinned. "They promoted me to moderator for my efforts on the mission!"
"Check this out," Lyserg retorted. He held up the insignia on his uniform that read Private First Class; he was no longer a zero. "They're training me for solo missions now."
"I got a spot on the espionage squad," Lando said. "And it looks like I'll be aboard the Vixen as she monitors the next group of youth in their adulthood ceremony."
"Me," Kevak said, "I'm going into weapons systems training. Gonna get me some payback for them killing me."
"Hah!" replied Lyserg. "Good on ya!"
But the discussion of work quickly faded as Zang and Kevak too were tempted by the sights and smells on the beach. The four had only a couple week's vacation before they'd see solid land again and they were going to make the most of it.

But Nakor, where were all the clues?!Day 1: The bridge was still sealed off when the bridge crew left it after the wolves had already boarded. Therefore, everyone on the bridge was a crew member. Night 1: The wolves may not need weapons themselves, but they certainly wouldn't suggest arming the crew. Anthony, CT and Ryan were not wolves. This was something I was going to reference later to complete a clue that Raydawn was the microbiologist. (I was going to have him use it surreptitiously, as though collecting a skin sample.) Unfortunately Raydawn buggered off on us, so this clue never ended up meaning anything. Zang was in engineering... Day 2: ...where he killed Ryan. This wasn't actually a clue at all, I just wanted to point out that you were all wrong when you were talking about Lando having not been in the story. Actually Lando did an awesome job of convincing you of a lot of amusing things. Also a few of the guys in Heaven chat thought it might be a clue. I didn't use it as one, because anyone would be shocked at a suicide. Swift protected either Diana or Nancy the prior night (I forget which) and so he overheard them having a conversation while the kills were taking place. Neither of them could have been wolves. Night 2: This also wasn't truly a clue, contrary to thoughts in Heaven chat. This happened a few times, with crew members more often than werewolves. This, however, was a clue. Ben's extensive knowledge of the wolfani was due to the fact that he was the (replacement) microbiologist. An actual wolf wouldn't be giving away information like that. Day 3: I assume you all realize how this day cleared Alex, so I'll skip to: Emphasis added. Nothing would be a continuing theme, and was referring to Lyserg Zeroz. "Nothing" was in his very name (given to him, in theory, by his parents). Night 3: No clues here. Day 4 - First Half: Another instance of "nothing." CT & Nor were talking about the girls they liked in hearing range of two of the wolves. Kevak knows about Nor's infatuation with Jean. Nor is startled, because there's no reason Kevak should know. He knows because he overheard it before his previous kill, above. Of course, Nor was also cleared by Swift's protection this round. I was asked once if the android body thing had anything to do with Swift's successful protect; it didn't, that was just coincidence. I had been planning to have that event occur at this point in the game regardless. Night 4: No clues here. Day 5: This is the third time a wolf goes on about "nothing." Night 5: No clues here. Most of the clues appeared in the day halves, just before you were allowed to vote, in the hopes you'd notice them more easily. Day 6: Once again with the "nothing." I was thinking about starting to make a bunch of jedi mind power references, but I realized that proper strategy at this point could have guaranteed the crew a win anyway. (If you had either managed a double kill, or noticed the clue from Day 1, you were set to win.) So you only got this very, very vague star wars reference instead. Jean was also quite right about both the wolves genders being revealed as male in this story. No clues appeared in the stories after that, because as I said above, you guys had enough at that point to secure a win, even if you hadn't figured out the Day 1 clue.
