Michael took down his Formspring answer.
Disappointing, as I would have very much liked to reread his side of the story after hearing Dan's.
The way I see it, they are both very, very much at fault in this situation. Both in different ways, but the differing ways add up equally. Dan should have done a lot more communicating and a lot less assuming. Michael shouldn't have agreed to work on another project without making sure Dan was OK with it and completely understood, nor should he have aired this in such a public manner.
Either way, it never should have been made such a big deal. In large part, Michael made it the big deal. But Dan should have addressed it a lot earlier, whether Michael made that Formspring post or not. We should not have to ask in such a forceful way for Dan to tell us anything. He is correct in saying that his relationship with Michael is none of our business. However, I believe he is incorrect if he thinks Michael's relationship to Dan 3.0 isn't our business. It is. We're supposed to be in control of this project. Unless that's changed...
That being said, I think half of the reason Dan was reluctant to tell us is because he did not want to besmirch Michael in the same way Michael besmirched him. So meh. Just glad this drama is over. xD
ALSO, pretty freakin' sad that he gave in and shaved his beard. I usually find beards extremely sexy, but that was starting to get ... ew. Still, it's November. Most people were upset because he was ignoring the pleas to shave his beard. He should have just said, at the beginning of November, "Yo, dawgs, it's Neanderthal November, so I'ma keep this beastly beard goin' unless you guys say otherwise. Lemme know!"
OH WELL.
