revision3.com/dan30/task/d3p0-road-trip-soup-kitchen-challengeLet's finally have Dan start doing things to benefit communities. I want Dan to start making a charitable positive impact with Dan 3.0 and I want it now. Here's my task: In each of the remaining cities on the road trip, volunteer in a soup kitchen for 1-2 hours. The challenge: work every position there is to work in a soup kitchen by the end of the road trip.

My only concern is that some of the gatherings may have to be pushed back if they have to do more stuff in each city. They seem rushed to get to places as it is. And to be quite honest, I find this "road trip" task incredibly boring, pointless, and a huge waste of time that could be spent doing more entertaining/productive tasks (at least from the perspective of a viewer who isn't able to attend any of the gatherings), so I prefer it end sooner rather than later. So, on one hand, the faster these gatherings are completed, the faster we can move on to more tasks like your's. On the other hand, I don't feel like waiting. <_< EDIT: I think Dan is only going to accept tasks they can do on the road, too.

I don't know how much time he has available to spend in every place, but I voted up anyways (I suppose that if he does not have the time, then he will simply not do it) What if he invites people from the gatherings to help :D[/hopeful beam of hopefulness] If there is enough people, for example, he could try to get people to go to do a group donation of blood.

I think he'll have plenty of time to go work in a soup kitchen for an hour in each city, especially if he plans for it.

I like this. The gatherings should be used to do something fun and productive, not dilly-dally around, playing dumb games. So it'd be cool if during the gathering, everyone could do something such as volunteer at a soup kitchen. @rob: Dan's still going to want to do all the stuff he does in each city, though. And he seems exhausted. It doesn't seem like he has much time to give up (even though I think he should find the time if we tell him to >_>) even if he does plan, but maybe you're right. *shrug*

Great idea. +1.
I agree with Bree, the road trip videos are really boring. He doesn't even seem to be making an effort to do tasks either. In Seattle, he could have completed a task rather than walking aimlessly around downtown or going to Value Village. And he says that the gatherings are three hours long. If in three hours the best footage he got was playing the name game or having people say 4 words to a camera, I think he could absolutely be doing something more productive.
