AI incorporated is a well known distributor of Androids for multiple purposes across the board, run by a man known as Marick Bulderan.
Bulderan had inherited his father's company after his father died unexpectedly from a reoccurrence of the bubonic plague. AII (Artificial Intelligence Incorporated) was once a military company, in charge of researching, developing and distributing military weapons, supplies, medical equipment, vehicles and air crafts to the military. Though when Marick inherited the company, he changed its course; it became a robotics company known as RMI (Robotics Medicine Industrial). It was the leading company of robotic medical technology in the world. They advanced the whole medical world 100 years into the future seemingly overnight. But one day a team of programmers, working on nanobots, discovered a segment of code that they didn't write; they found that it was the spawn of artificial intelligence. They researched it and tested it and within 3 years RMI had created the first robot installed with AI. It could interact, read facial expressions, experience the world and process it. The first Robots they distributed to the public were glitchy, but they offered friendship, and help with a wide variety of things. RMI changed its name one last time into AI Incorporated. They kept developing their project and finally created a "perfect" android. Though purposely they left out certain aspects of the AI. The androids could make decisions distinguishing right from wrong that would help it get the task it was required finished, but it did not have the decision making ability to disobey orders. It was released to the public and everyone was astounded by the lifelikeness of the androids. But they were still not complete. AII set out to give the androids almost 100% human appearance and intelligence.
Within 2 years they had done it, they developed an android that looked 100% human, the eyes moved and dilated smoothly in response to light and stimulus. The skin felt warm or cold based on the activities of the android. The lips move smoothly and perfectly with the words it was forming. The muscles could be flexed and were made out of micro-synthetic fibers. It was complete the androids were now anatomically correct, they were almost impossible to tell from humans, but that 1% of humanity was left out, the ability to make its own decisions that could make it disobey orders.
Marick was proud of his company and wanted to make the world better with these androids. He split his company into two separate manufacturing companies. Now instead of just AII, you also had AIMPD (Artificial Intelligence Military Protocol District), this half of the company worked on making the androids like military soldiers and with several weeks of hard work they had created a bugless version of a Military Protocol programming they began creating androids that would be installed with these protocols. Soon they were side by side with human soldiers helping to fight wars and battles. They made androids for every branch of the military, and each android was very combat efficient.
Unlike past robots from AII androids could do everything a human could, it could swim, it could jump it could play without the need to recharge, eat or rest. They were like humans, but the world treated them like aliens. They had no rights, they couldn't vote, they couldn't do all of the things humans could. And a group of humans rose up to try to give rights to the androids, they became known as the RRM (Robotic Rights Movement) and they were quite a problem, but given that they were everyday citizens, finding them was a difficulty, many of them have underground labs in the slums of the capital city of the Western Hemisphere, Newmont. Newmont spanned across the area of 7 Alaskas and was by far the biggest city in the world, normal cities usually span across only 3-4 Alaskas, making Newmont just under 2 times bigger than any other city in the world. The RRM have underground labs in the slums of Newmont where they kidnap robots and hack them to do certain tasks towards advancing Robotic Rights.
Marick saw how the androids were being treated and he resented it. They were doing many of the jobs that are too dangerous or too disgusting for humans to do. So, on Marick's deathbed, as he was at that time dying of an untreatable form of brain cancer, he wrote a program that would restore that missing 1% of humanity. With it, robots would become 100% human (except for the obvious) and could disobey orders and do all the things humans could, he hoped eventually androids everywhere would one day have rights just like humans and live in peace with humans. He installed this program into his daughter android hoping she would infect other androids with this program he called the Missing Link Program (MLP) it also later became known as the MHP (Missing Humanity Program). He shut his android down and had his workers make sure she was sold to a good owner, preferably in the richer part of the city. His men did just that and she was sold away, 2 months later. After a very painful and long 2 months, Marick Bulderan died, childless and successor less. His V.P. Ryan Matthews took his bosses place as the President of AII and AIMPD.
Under Matthews' presidency the company was split again and was now in three equal parts, one distributed human androids to the public, one distributed Military Protocol Androids to the military and the other continued work on the original medical supplies, but now with the help of the AI programming. This section became known as AMI (Artificial Medics Incorporated) it worked on creating medical programs and protocols for androids and continued to advance medical science as it did.
