The other day I was thinking about the life of this boy. He was born in Aberdeen, and lived in Seattle for a while too. He had this dream: become a rock star. Almost all kids dream about that at least for a short time in their lives, but this kid really wanted to be one. When he grew up he started recording demos with two friends and working on his music. One day they were so famous that a whole new genre based on punk was attributed to them.
For this kid the fame and money started to be a bit annoying. He had what he wanted, but it wasn’t as good as he thought it would be. Then he had a new dream: have a family with a really beautiful woman and live a normal life. The dream once again was accomplished, and even if he was still famous, everyone could tell he was pretty happy.
On April 8th, 1994, he was found dead in his house in Seattle. The official report says he committed suicide, but there are a lot of things that are still unexplained about his death. You may say that all his dreams ended then, but you would be wrong. Since he was really young, this kid always had one true and bigger dream: become a member of the so exclusive “27 Club”. The requirements to get in: be an influential rock or blues musician and die at the age of 27; even better if the deaths are somehow controversial and they owned a white lighter. (A white lighter? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/27_Club )
So the first two dreams that I mentioned were just part of this last dream, and hell you can swear it became true. Maybe not all dreams do, but this one did… just in case there are any skeptics reading this. I personally don’t care whether my dreams come true or not, but at least there’s proof that sometimes they do. And if you really don’t know who this kid was: have you been living under a rock or something? Google it, I won’t tell you! Nah jk, but seriously; google. ;D
