ZOMFG So a vote of non-confidence was passed in Parliament, a combined contempt of parliament vote of the Liberals, NDP and Bloc Quebecoise against the Tory Government means Canadians will be voting in a federal election in May. This is the first time this has ever happened in any commonwealth nation. For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, just look at the fluffy bunny: ;D ;D ;D

Of course - the reason Harper was found in contempt was election spending - which are those attack ads - which he's still airing.
Along with those Economic Action Plan ads (the EAP is over, by the way)

I vaguely heard something about this in the paper. For some reason I'm indifferent... So how do you guys think the election will turn out?

Prediction: Minority, no matter what
Most likely Conservative minority (the party losing seats) with NDP as the leader of the opposition

^^^THAT. It'll pretty much turn out exactly the same, but just with some other Conservative in the PM's chair. For some reason Canada's not as progressive as the states, we're still stuck in pseudo Bush-era politics.

More then likely, because Harper was found in contempt - if the conservatives win a minority and place Harper as the PM, the other three parties will form a coalition
