OOC: I think I'm the only vampire who's never been caught...maybe one other from the first vamp game but it was a freshly turned one that didn't get to play a round.

lol I have played every vampire game and was only a vampire once - and albeit a good one, I think my logic has helped catch more vampires than my victims in that one game, so I hope you don't vote me off because of it.

Well, there's that possibility as well - but in the mean time - we'll just have to see what happens next

It had been one day since the incident in the village square had taken place. The townspeople had all been summoned to the town hall for an emergency meeting, and was now talking loudly among themselves. The mayor, Cameron Quinn took the stand.
”Order! Order!” He slammed his hand against the podium several times. “As you all may have guessed by now, there has been an... incident in our fair village.” He paused and directed the room's attention toward Benjamin Hughes, sitting in the front row. “Last night, Officer Hughes here was patrolling the streets when he says he heard a scream coming from the square. However, upon arrival, he did not find anyone. All that was there was a rather large pool of blood. I believe most of you saw the dark stain in front of the town hall.”
Laura Doyle raised her voice. “Are you saying that someone was killed? “That was what we believed at first.” Quinn raised his hands. “But seeing as how everyone in the village is currently in this room, it does not seem very likely.”
“Then vat exactly are you saying?” Dr. Friedrich Schreiber asked. “That someone lost such a massive amount of blood, and just.. walked away? Nein, that is simply not possible. You would be dead, or at least unconscious!”
“We simply do not know.” Quinn continued. “All we know at this point is that there is blood in our square, and seemingly no owner of said blood. It truly is a mystery.”
“Officer Hughes, you must have seen someone there!” Father O'Neill spoke up. “It's a big square, and as Dr. Schreiber said, I highly doubt that someone would be able to run very fast in a condition like that?” Hughes turned his head around toward the crowd. “Well, a couple of people had heard the scream and lit some lights, but the only one I actually saw was Mr. Flynn. However, I highly doubt that h-”
“Hah! I knew it!” Martin Maguire had jumped to his feet. “I knew you had something to do with this!” He pointed directly at Flynn. His wife tugged on his jacket. “Martin, please sit down, you're making a fool of yourself!” Martin looked up at Quinn as if to say something, but just started grumbling and sat down on his bench with his arms crossed.
John Collins raised his hand. “I think I know who's to blame for all of this. It was probably Johanna's mutt who killed some poor animal. I tell ya, that fleabag should be put down!” Johanna Watkins turned in her seat and raised her voice. “How dare you! Ricky would never hurt a fly!” “Oh is that so?” John rolled up his sleeve to uncover an old wound. “I suppose this is his way of saying hello then, is it?” "Only reason he doesn't like you is because you're so darn mean to him all the time! Besides, he was inside all night, so it's simply impossible!”
“Well, it doesn't look like we're getting anywhere with this.” Quinn said in a disappointed tone. “Officer Hughes? I trust you will continue looking into this matter, and bring us any information you may discover. This meeting is dismissed! ____________________________________________________
Next story will be put out Sunday/Monday.

Things to mention and let be known - hopefully before someone dies. A few people were mentioned in this story with substantial dialogue regarding the incident. I will exclude myself along with other people who did not relay matters such as opinions or other relevant information. These people provided details for the story - but arguably no clues. The following people, however, may have provided insight into clues based on what they said
Dr. Friedrich Father O'Neill Martin Maguire Amy Maguire John Collins Johanna
From what Dr. Friedrich said - it seems he is most skeptical. If he were a vampire, or even had knowledge of such creatures (which of all the people in this village, it would make most sense for him to as he's of eastern european descent, but that's irrelevant), he would probably have come up with a theory relating to the large pool of blood. But he did not - his stance leads me to assume that he has no knowledge of them.
From Father O'Neill's segment, he draws the conclusion that someone in the bleeding condition ran. There's no reason to believe that the one bleeding did the moving at all, so why would he assume that the person ran, as opposed to being taken away? This is somewhat suspicious (though only minorly so).
Martin obviously has some form of beef with Captain Flynn, but his display of it and quick and overexaggerated judgment of Captain Flynn so early on in the story, leads me to believe that he is not a vampire, which would be much more subtle in his dislike. Amy, however, is ashamed of herself so much that she won't admit her drinking habit to her husband. So her actions do not fit the actions of someone showing shame, but rather embarassment for her husband, not herself. This is interesting but again only minorly suspicious.
John Collins obviously hates Ricky, who hilariously enough is Johanna's dog. I doubt John Collins is a vampire as he has a scar from a bite mark on his arm. Vampires would not have scars.
So - from this last story, I strongly would not suspect John Collins or Dr. Friedrich, and be mindful of Amy Maguire and Father O'Neill

IC: Your argument to suspect me is based on something I said. But the thing is - the victim moved. They had to of moved - if the victim died, the attacker would have left them there, because the attacker probably doesn't have the strength to move fast while carring a body.
And, because Chief Hughes was running towards the screaming, the victim - who did not want to be found for whatever reason - would have had to run to escape being seen.

No no, I was reading some books about Vampires (OC: Vampires 1-4) and the attack will carry his victim off when s/he is changing it
