edit: If you didn't have to work to survive - what would you do with your time? How the question was worded before: If you had so much money in your bank account (earned or won, not stolen) that you didn't have to work anymore, would you still work? what would you do with your time and why?
note that I didn't ask what you would buy but rather what you would spend your time doing

The question is vague. Do I have enough money to do whatever I want? Or just enough money to have a lot of free time?

Enough money to do whatever you want.

I would end world hunger. There's plenty of food in the world to feed all the people, just not a proper distribution system in place. I would use my money to fund the implementation of such a system so that the world can spend its resources on other pressing matters.

Ryan, missing the point...
Maybe I should expand more on the question.
I'm trying to figure out if an economic balance is the only reason why a person would stay working or if they would still find the need to work, that be in things they enjoy, regardless of how much money they own. Specially over the fact that a few people I know have told me that the only reason they go to school is to get a good paying job.
So, all in all, its more of a personal question, and really should just be focusing on what you would do in the remainder of your life.

Rewording the question for Ricky.
If you didn't have to work to survive - what would you do with your time?
I'd probably learn a lot, design buildings, and practice parkour with my time.

lol thanks Ryan, that's exactly what I meant to say. xP
Fixed the first post too.
Anyways, Chelsea, teaching is an awesome career, and you are right, they don't exactly make a lot of money. Sounds like fun though, are you planning on teaching kids or more of an advance level?
Ryan, I think I would end up doing something similar. I'd probably just buy a giant library, live there, and attend all the classes on any subjects I can. Learning for learning sounds sort of liberating.
Architecture, nevertheless is sort of out of my reach. I don't have great math skills and I can't draw well even if my life depended on it. Are you studying that?

I'd like to. I'm currently studying math and engineering which go well with architecture. After all you wouldn't want an architect who couldn't do math or didn't have an understanding of civil engineering. Similarly - you don't really want a civil engineer who doesn't have a basic knowledge of architecture.

Nope, I probably wouldn't work a "normal" job anymore (ie; cashier, nurse, etc etc..)
I would, however, still have something that I'd treat as a job, even if it weren't paid or really "job-ish". I would do freelance graphic design for people. I would YouTube. I would game competitively. I would try out amateur voice acting. I would vlog, blog, Tweet, etc, etc..
The fact that it wouldn't be paid doesn't matter, I'd still work my behind off at those things, AS IF paid were involved. I'd get my mock-ups, videos, and lines out on time, and I'd strive to improve and do quality work. None of that "Well, I'm not being paid for this, so... yay lazy time." The only difference the money would make would be that I'd be more selective in which projects I'd take on -- doing it for free, I would only take on stuff I *really* was thrilled about. I'd do it for enjoyment.
