80 people died at a youth conference today. Most of them probably.. Youths..
A man dressed as a police officer came in and shot them.
7 people died after a bombing of a government building.
This isn't political. This is wrong.

It is horrible. My thoughts today are with the killed and affected. This is an action that lacks any equivalent in modern nordic history. But it was most definitely an action triggered by ideological conviction.

...it was most definitely an action triggered by ideological conviction. Maybe so. But there's a fine line between political action and insanity. I don't care if you're right-wing or left-wing, killing is NEVER acceptable for a political reason.

This is why I don't like you Zang.
That's bad news (not unexpected) but please take it to your own thread.

The fact that this is terribly wrong doesn't mean that it wasn't political. It just means that it was terribly wrong. It is true, though, that in the case this guy didn't adhere or didn't know about whatever beliefs he has now, then maybe he would still have done some insane stuff (because it should be noted that it was the guy doing it and making the decision, it was his mind doing this, not a political movement), but in this case the insanity was triggered by certain political beliefs.
From time to time I hear about people going on some random shooting rampage (in fact there was one here in Chile a few days ago, of course, the numbers of victims was nothing compared to this one). Sometimes it is justified by some anger towards the world or some depression, others by politics or religion, but it is always a terrible thing, and no matter how the person justifies this, the justification is, in my opinion, just a shallow excuse for the deeper problems of the killer.

Wait, are you trying to tell me that the political activist, Adolf Hitler, is encouraging the death of innocent Jews?
